Townhouse and Low-rise Apartment Guidelines

The City of Toronto Planning Division recently completed new urban design guidelines for low-rise apartment buildings and townhouses. These represent an increasingly important housing form that can provide for families, larger unit needs, and a more affordable option for ground-oriented homes. These new guidelines will compliment existing area-specific policies to help ensure that quality housing is built in the city.
