Our office has received several inquiries about what is happening on this site at the corner of Sheppard and Greenbriar Rd. A development application has been filed requesting an Official Plan and Zoning By-law amendment to permit a mixed-use building of 11 storeys and 184 dwelling units.
The Preliminary Report is at North York Community Council on May 10. For more information on the proposal or to register your comments, you may contact the City Planner, Allison Meistrich, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 416 395-7127. You can also search the details of the development by typing in the address on the City's website at http://app.toronto.ca/DevelopmentApplications/mapSearchSetup.do?action=init.
You may have also noticed the presence of a sales office/trailer and some signs on the property. Some of the signage was not permitted and was ordered to be taken down or brought into compliance. The sales trailer was determined to be an illegal structure under the zoning by-law. An order to stop work and bring it into compliance was issued by the City.
The matter of the trailer will go before the North York Committee of Adjustment on May 12 in request of a Minor Variance to permit a temporary sales office. For more information, to submit comments or for information on how to participate in the hearing please contact the Application Technician, Olivia Antonel, at email@example.com or 416 395-7138.
