Update on Toronto Ward Boundary Review public meetings

Residents and business owners are invited to attend public meetings to provide input on the five options for Toronto’s new ward boundaries as part of the Toronto Ward Boundary Review process. The Review is intended to ensure that each person in Toronto has equitable representation at City Council.

The closest meeting for the Willowdale area will take place:

  • Saturday, September 19 from 10 a.m. to noon Trinity Presbyterian Church, 2737 Bayview Ave.

The full meeting schedule is available at www.drawthelines.ca.

Input received at the public meetings and via the online survey (www.drawthelines.ca/completesurvey) will inform the final Ward Boundary Review Report, which will include a recommended option. The final report will be presented to the Executive Committee and Toronto City Council in May 2016.

The Toronto Ward Boundary Review Options Report was released on August 11 and is available at www.drawthelines.ca/theoptions. The report outlines five potential options for Toronto’s new ward boundaries.
